Artgermination Challenge: BRONZE WONDER

This is my competition Entry for the "Culture Switch" Themed Art Challenge on Artgermination .

I picked wonder woman and decided to depict her as I'd imagine her if she had been born within the context of a brazillian background.

Back Story

I imagine her raised in the mythos of Amazonian brazil on an Island somewhere. She'd be raised by Ci (or is it Tupian?) The mother Goddess as a jungle born Encantado, (the brazillian version of immortal?) I could be wrong here. She'd live a protected life with other Encantado that flee to the jungle to avoid facing the deaths of loved ones. The Goddess Ci would keep them in a semi perpetual paradise.

Anyway I see her as a protector of the Jungle with power drawn directly from the trees, air and water around her. in other words powered up by nature. She would be called Bronze Wonder for her armour and skintone.

Costume

I hope I imagined her right. The rope is a trademak of Wonder woman but I threw in gemstones set in her belt that "store" the natural essence of the jungle allowing her to activate her strength when in the city for a set duration of time.

The colours correlate with the Brazillian flag I tried to use carnival costumes for inspiration and introduced minor changes to her design.

It took me a week to work out the idea and get to this point working most evenings.
Was plenty fun and I used a few Tutorials from Artgermination to help me out.
